Commentary: Kentucky Pride Cleanup - we have an excellent recycling center

By James Roberts

I agree that Peewee Sinclair went above and beyond to help maintain Adair County's garbage cleanup and keep it under control. We can ALL do better ourselves to help keep our county clean.

The last year has been dominated by headlines about international trade and the tough tri-lateral negotiations involving the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Now, a new trade framework has been proposed to replace NAFTA, USMCA. Under USMCA, the United States has rebalanced the deal to reflect American interests and the concerns of a 21st century economy. The effects of this agreement will benefit the United States for years to come.

In contrast, the record setting year of 2011 included as much as 20 inches of rain in some areas during April and early May, resulting in extensive flooding along the lower reaches of the Ohio River and its tributaries."
