Indians' season ends in 5th Region finals Tribe finishes record-breaking year with 32 wins Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Wes Feese, Media Relations, Adair County Schools Adair County's incredible season came to an abrupt end Tuesday night when the Indians lost a nail-biter to district rival Taylor County in the championship game of the 5th Region Tournament. Adair (32-2) had beaten Taylor three times already this year, but fell just short in the fourth contest, 67-66. "Hats off to Taylor County," says Adair County head coach Deron Breeze. "A regional championship game is meant to be entertaining and competitive and that is what both teams gave the 4,000 in attendance. Unfortunately, one team has to win and one has to lose and for the first time in four games between Taylor and Adair this year, we lost."
