Dorothy Wilson, 93, of Russell Springs, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY.

Funeral service for Dorothy Wilson will be 10amCT/11amET. Thursday March 9, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe Gosser officiating. Visitation 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Wednesday and after 8amCT/9amE, Thursday. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery on Gosser Ridge.

She was born October 14, 1923 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Warren B. & Luzetta Stephens Harris. She died Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 93 years, four months, and 21 days. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Colvin Wilson; daughter, Sharon Wilson; son, Gary D. Wilson; grandson, Kenny Pierce; 3 brothers, Cohn, Okle, & Limon Harris; and two sisters, Lucy Smith, and Okra Smith.

She is survived by:
  • Six children: Barbara (Lee) Pierce, Windsor, KY; Ronnie (Judy) Wilson, Nancy, KY; Brenda (Harlan) Robertson, Russell Springs, KY; Paula (Paul) Robertson, Russell Springs, KY; and Bonnie (Gill) Gill, Russell Springs, KY; and Debra (Mitchell) Robertson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: David Pierce, Randy Pierce, Brian Wilson, Preston Robertson, Troy Walters, Nicholas Robertson, Benjamin Robertson

  • Ten great grandchildren

  • Two great great grandchildren
