Mrs. Addina Fudge Graves, 86, Taylor Co./Cumberland Co. KY native (1930-2017)

She was a member of Grider United Methodist Church and worked many years at KY Pants Company in Glasgow, KY and retired from OshKosh Manufacturing in Marrowbone, KY. She was a resident of Campbellsville, KY, and will be laid to rest in her native Cumberland County, KY. She was the daughter of the late J.V. & Bessie Rowe Fudge and widow of Davis "Doc" Graves. She leaves 12 direct living descendants.

Mrs. Addina Fudge Graves, 86, of Campbellsville, KY, formerly of Burkesville, KY, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017, at her home in Campbellsville, KY. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2pmCT/3pmET, Friday, March 10, 2017 at in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Grider Memorial Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY. The family will receive friends after 4pmCT/5pmET, Thursday, March 9, 2017 until the funeral hour on Friday.

She was born in Cumberland County, KY on Saturday, June 28, 1930. She was the daughter of J. V. & Bessie (Rowe) Fudge. She died Sunday, March 5, 2017, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 86 years, eight months, and five days.

She was a member of Grider United Methodist Church and worked many years at KY Pants Company in Glasgow, KY and retired from OshKosh Manufacturing in Marrowbone, KY.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Davis "Doc" Graves; daughter, Lisa Graves Calhoun; sisters, Margaree Lewis, Genavie Fudge; brother, Preston "Preacher" Fudge; and son-in-law, Marvin Calhoun. She is survived by:
  • Her son and daughter-in-law: Murrell and Gertie Staley Graves of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four grandchildren and their spouses: Brian and Kelly Graves Gritton of Lexington, KY; Kyle and Lauren Randolph Graves of Paris, TN; Casey and Jessica Stepp Calhoun, Jeremy and Candace Calhoun Wray, all of Lexington, SC

  • Seven great-grandsons: Samuel Gritton, Gabe Gritton, Mason Duffey, Cooper Calhoun, Cason Calhoun, Coleman Calhoun, and Levi Wray

  • One sister: Juanita Denham of Bowling Green, KY

  • Two sisters-in-law: Linda Graves of Marrowbone, KY and Gertha Fudge of Grider, KY

  • And a special niece: Vallie Dyer of Burkesville, KY
