Christmas in Columbia is Saturday, 2 December 2017 By Linda Waggener The annual Chamber of Commerce Christmas in Columbia celebration happens this Saturday, December 2, 2017. The theme is "A Bluegrass Christmas" and the full day of activities has come to be a major event in Adair County. Events kick off at 6:30amCT with the Edgar Troutman Memorial Rotary Breakfast at the Columbia Baptist Church until to 9:30amCT. There is a $5 per person charge. The historic Adair County Courthouse opens for the Adair Heritage Association Christmas Arts and Crafts sale at 9amCt and goes through lunchtime until 2pmCT. There will be light food and drink available for a donation for those who want to keep shopping. Whiley, with whom she shared over 30 years of marriage. This morning around 2 a.m. my husband and best friend, Joe Lillis decided it was time to go check for code violations in heaven. Our life together of 8 years couldn't have been more complete. Even though he had promised me twenty he said he was tired and probably wasn't going to be able to keep that promise. I told him I understood and would love him forever. I know he is not suffering anymore and is at peace but it is so hard to say goodbye.
