By Tony Rose, Adair Co. Extension Agent for Youth & 4-H

Adair County 4-H will be attending 4-H Summer Camp June 18-22, 2018. This year for the first time in a few years Adair County has the opportunity to take 2 cabins of girls to camp. The past few years we have only been able to take 1 cabin of girls. However to take advantage of this great opportunity, we must have at least 2-3 more adult females to attend as Adult Leaders. Adult Leaders will stay in female cabins with the Adair County youth and help to supervise youth during the week long camp.

This is a very rewarding experience for the adults and youth who attend 4-H Summer camp. If you are interested in serving as an Adult Leader for 4-H Summer Camp, please contact the Adair County Cooperative Extension Service at 270-384-2317 or email Tony Rose at trose@uky.edu.

We do provide trainings for all our Leader who attend Camp. Please consider helping out. Without 2-3 more female adult leaders we will not be able to take advantage of the opportunity to take 25 more female youth to 4-H Summer camp.- Tony Rose *** Educational programs of Kentucky Cooperative Extension serve all people regardless of economic or social status and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ethnic origin, national origin, creed, religion, political belief, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, marital status, genetic information, age, veteran status, or physical or mental disability.
