ACFD Fire report: Blaze at Huckaby house, Gentry Mill road Damage contained to one bedroom at house in eastern edge of Adair County, KY near Russell County line. By Donald Hare, Public Information Officer Adair County Fire Department, 200 Merchant Street, Columbia, KY The Adair County Fire Department responded to a residential house fire Monday , November 27, 2017, at 2:09pmCT, to a house at 575 Gentry Mill Road, Adair County, to property owned by Charlotte Huckaby. Upon firefighters arrival smoke was coming from front of the house, firefighters were able to contain the damage to one bedroom area. There were 12 firemen on the scene for one hour, 20 minutes.
