Letter: Easton is a straight shooter

Gene Burton writes:
Easton is a straight shooter. I had never meet him until about 2-3 months ago. I had just been written a prescription for a name brand drug that I knew was expensive. I was shopping around trying to find which pharmacy was the least expensive for me to get my prescription filled. The first two I went to were within a few dollars of each other. After checking with North Century, Easton informed me that his price was also going to be within a few dollars of my other two quotes but he said "give me some time and I will see what I can do" ...here is where his great customer service kicks in.

Says holding meeting at 8amCT is 'borderline deceitful'

Personal commentary

Carol M. Edwards writes:
The Adair County School Board held a special called meeting today for the purpose of raising taxes. In your article it was mentioned that no citizens came forth to discuss the board's proposal.

OF COURSE NO ONE CAME FORWARD. THE MEETING WAS SCHEDULED WHEN MOST PEOPLE ARE WORKING. I feel that holding the meeting at 8amCT, was borderline deceitful and see this as a thinly disguised attempt to shove a tax increase down the collective throats of Adair County taxpayers. - CAROL M EDWARDS
