Letter: Easton is a straight shooter

Gene Burton writes:
Easton is a straight shooter. I had never meet him until about 2-3 months ago. I had just been written a prescription for a name brand drug that I knew was expensive. I was shopping around trying to find which pharmacy was the least expensive for me to get my prescription filled. The first two I went to were within a few dollars of each other. After checking with North Century, Easton informed me that his price was also going to be within a few dollars of my other two quotes but he said "give me some time and I will see what I can do" ...here is where his great customer service kicks in.

He took the time to look for a coupon that would help pay for my prescription. Not only did he find one that helped pay, it paid for my entire prescription. It was a coupon for a free trial prescription. I do not remember the exact number it saved me but if my memory is correct it was over $100. I have no doubt the other drug stores could have done the same but none of them went out of their way to look for a less expensive alternative. Easton's customer service is second to nobody in our area.

Talking to Easton reminded me of how much I missed my old pharmacist (Patrick Huff at Columbia Pharmacy). Anyways the very next month when it was time for me to get my maintenance medicines filled I stopped by and ask Easton if he could transfer my prescriptions to North Century. It was very simple and fast. In fact is was so fast he had them filled faster than the pharmacy that actually had them on file.

He also took the time to discuss a medicine that I had a prescription for but I had stopped taking. After some encouragement from him he convinced me to start taking it again... and Easton if you read this I promise I will start taking it next month just like I said. --Gene Burton
