She was a native of Marion County, IN, and a resident of Cumberland County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth & Nancy House Daniels. Her husband, Deion Pitcock, survives. She leaves four direct living descendants. She had worked at Osh B'Gosh plant and was of the Pentecostal faith. Her final resting place will be in Summer Shade, Metcalfe County, KY.

She loved flowers and gardening. She enjoyed upholstering furniture. She loved to watch birds especially Martins and Hummingbirds. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church in LaCenter, KY. She was the widow of Dewey Knight, her husband of 68 years. She leaves relatives in Western KY and descendants in the Adair County, KY area. She was the the mother of Susan Minton and grandmother of Brandon (MacKenzie) Minton all of Columbia, KY

Davis Sexton, 75, Adair County, KY (1942-2018)

He was a member of the Columbia Baptist Church, a respected business man who operated a car dealerships for 40 years prior to retirement, a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite, and a Shriner. He was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death in Hardin Co., KY. He was a member of a leading South Central Kentucky family. He was the son of the late Olie Cleveland & Altha Brummett Sexton. He leaves 12 direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in Haven Hill Cemetery in Adair County.

William Justice (Pete) Milby, Gabe, Green Co., KY, (1935-2018)

Justice spent his life tending to the land God had granted him. He was also a dedicated seasonal employee of Greensburg Tobacco Warehouses, the community of Oak Forest Church, his son Mr. Jeff Milby, as well as a host of extended family.

William Justice "Pete" Milby was born on July 26, 1935 in Gabe, Green County, KY. He was the son of the late Mr. Thurman L. Milby & Katherine Judd Milby and departed this world on June 4, 2018. He was holding the hand of his beloved wife of almost 59 years, Mrs. Linda Sue Loyall Milby and of his devoted daughter, Mrs. Vickie Sue Buckman.

A tribute to Justice's life will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 2pmCT, with visitation beginning at 12:30pmCT, at the Oak Forest Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Gabe, KY. Pallbearers will be Ronald Buckman, Jeff Milby, Matt Buckman, William Milby, James Buckman, and Ayden Stagner. Honorary pallbearers will be Melanie Milby, Emilie Murrey, Nichole Buckman, Lena Murrey, Rory Buckman, and Breanna Milby.

COLUMBIA, KY (Thu 7 Jun 2018) - Lindsey Wilson athletics finished in second place in the 2017-18 NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup standings, National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) officials announced on Thursday.

The Blue Raiders were edged out by Oklahoma City (847.75 points) in the season-long competition by a slim margin of 1.75 points. Lindsey Wilson amassed 846 points as Wayland Baptist (Texas) finished in third place with 814 points.

Adair County Primary Center students participating in Camp Rocket were guests today, June 7, 2018, at the Pyles Family Farm on Pelham Branch Road.

They helped to feed the animals, petted some of the friendlier ones and cooled off with popsicles before heading back to the school.

Chief Justice of Kentucky John D. Minton Jr. and Cherise Fanno Burdeen, chief executive officer of the Pretrial Justice Institute, held a joint news conference at the Capitol in Frankfort to announce that Kentucky Pretrial Services, a department within the Administrative Office of the Courts, will take part in 3DaysCount.

Dale (Peewee) Johnson, 76, Russell Co., KY (1942-2018)

He was a native of Russell County, KY, the son of the late Marvin & Bertha Bledsoe Johnson. He was a farmer and a member of Rockhouse Christian Church. One son, Kevin Daryl Reeder, two sisters, and several nieces and nephews survive. His final resting place will be in Rockhouse Bottom, Russell County, KY.

Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 05 Jun 2018

Indictments brought against 29 individuals from Danville, Nicholasville, Buffalo, Knifley, Greensburg, and Campbellsville, KY on charges including robbery, theft, forgery, possession, DUI, burglary, flight, terroristic threatening, arson, and failure to comply with sex registry.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

One injured in two vehicle collision, Cumberland County

(Cumberland County, Ky May June 7, 2018) - Trooper Jason Warinner is investigating a two vehicle collision that occurred on June 6, 2018 at 8:42amCT on West KY 90, 4 miles of west of Burkesville.

Bobby Garmon, age 16, of Burkesville, was operating a westbound white 2002 Toyota pickup truck on KY 90 when he failed to see a stopped 2001 international dump truck, and struck it in the rear end.

She was a native of Adair County, KY, the daughter of the late Henry Bryant & Gertrude Cravens Bryant and a resident of Taylor County at the time of her death. She was the widow of William Luther Montgomery. She leaves 36 direct living descendants. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of God's Grace Church in Campbellsville.
