Taylor County Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 05 Jun 2018
Indictments brought against 29 individuals from Danville, Nicholasville, Buffalo, Knifley, Greensburg, and Campbellsville, KY on charges including robbery, theft, forgery, possession, DUI, burglary, flight, terroristic threatening, arson, and failure to comply with sex registry.
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
The Taylor County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Campbellsville, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 05 June 2018:
- Jeffrey Alcorn, Forest Ave., Danville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00113-001. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Robbery, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $15,000 cash, no contact with victim.
- Quincy Richard, Lincoln Heights, Nicholasville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00113-002. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Robbery, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bond set at $15,000 cash, no contact with victim.
- Richard Philon, Maple Leaf Lane, Nicholasville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00113-003. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Robbery, 2nd degree. Bond set at $15,000 cash, no contact with victim.
- David A. Simpson, New Columbia Rd., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 18-CR-00114. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Failure to comply with sex offender registration, 1st offense. Count 2 - Sex offender IM/Chat/social network use. Bond set at $1,500 full cash, no new arrest/violations of the law, no use of social media or internet, comply with sex offender registration, make all court dates.
