Click on headline for complete story From A-Team Staff at Adair County High School As "March Madness" is buzzing about the sports world, the culmination of Kentucky academic competition reached its peak this past weekend in the annual "Academic Team Big Dance" at the Galt House in Louisville. The location served as host to state's elite who gathered for the Governor's Cup State Championships after qualifying through the District and Region stages in January and February. The Adair County High School Academic Team returned to top form by bringing home the Future Problem Solving State Championship. Among others, the team climbed past the defending 2nd and 3rd Place finisher at last year's World Championships to take home the title. The competition goes through three rounds of evaluations with cuts to the Top 10 that get whittled down to 5 and then re-scored completely among the top 5 competing teams in the final round of evaluation. CHS students to raise money for local animal shelters Campbellsville High School students are raising money to help animals housed at local animal shelters.
