Lives changed during Campbellsville University Spring Break By Josh Christian, student news writer CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Spring break provides rest for students and faculty in the midst of a busy semester. Yet, for many spring breakers at Campbellsville University, it also provides the opportunity to serve on the mission field. From March 11 to March 20, three teams left Campbellsville, Ky. to go to different parts of the country, and the world. “A group of 13, consisting of CU football coaches, football players, administrators, and other friends, left on March 10 for a week-long trip tominister in four Florida state prisons through softball and at the Orlando Rescue Mission Homeless facility for men in downtown Orlando,” Jim Hardy, assistant athletic director, said. Lindsey Wilson captures MSC President's Cup By Charlie Balcom For the fifth year in a row, Lindsey Wilson has captured the Mid-South Conference President's Cup, conference officials announced on Wednesday. The Blue Raiders scored 115 out of a possible 120 points in the all-sports competition during the 2015-16 academic year en route to a fifth consecutive President's Cup. The run of five straight began back during the 2011-12 season. Lindsey Wilson also captured the title during the 2006-07 season. Walk Adair!!! - Writer finds activity tracker helps her get in steps She earned her activity tracker - she uses a Fitbit - through insurance wellness tracker and finds it a great way to get in minimum 10,000 steps a day. She arrives at work 20-30 minutes early each morning with a goal of having 3,000 steps in before 8am. Fitness trackers work for her.
