Adair County High School English Teacher Kyle Ballou instructs Math Teacher Marsha Reddick's students in how to write a proper essay. By Selena Badillo & Sydney Clark Mrs. Sheila Willis a Biology teacher and Mrs. Christy Dover an English teacher at ACHS, recently collaborated on a Stem Cell Writing Assignment for Mrs. Willis' Biology I course. In an interview, Willis said: "They were the best papers [students have] written in years." Also in the interview Mrs. Willis was asked "Why would a Biology and an English teacher need to work together?" she replied "Because the Biology teacher doesn't know everything about writing. Mrs. Dover has helped me explain the writing process which has helped my Biology students make connections to their English assignments." We purchased it from Mr. Leslie Morrison's granddaughter a few years ago. The March flowers there are always glorious, as are the day lilies in the summer. DAIL has reported to the Office of the Attorney General that it has received multiple reports of an individual or individuals who falsely identify themselves as a representative of the "Division of Aging" offering a complimentary Life Alert system paid for by the state.
