Charles Preston (Chuck) Reece III, Bullitt Co., KY (1972-2015)

His ancestral home centered on the Breeding area of Adair County. He was the grandson of the late Charles Preston Reece, JR, and Elizabeth Reece Harvey, who survives. He was medically retired from Ford Motor Company and was an avid deer hunter, gun collector, and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his children and collecting Ford Mustang memorabilia.

Charles Preston "Chuck" Reece III, 43, of Shepherdsville, KY, returned to his Heavenly Father Friday, March 13 2015.

Funeral service will be held at 9amCT/10amCT, on Friday, March 20, 2015, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, 4895 N Preston Hwy, Shepherdsville, KY, (Preston Hwy at Brooks Road; use John Harper entrance) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday 2pm-7pmCT/3pm-8pmET, and on Friday from 8amCT/9amET, until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.



Charles Preston "Chuck" Reece III, Shepherdsville, KY

Mr. Reece was born February 10, 1972 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. He was the son of Rhonda Reece, who survives, and the late Charles Preston Reece, Jr. He died Fridaym, March 13, 2015, at the age of 43 years, one month, and three days.

He was medically retired from Ford Motor Company and was an avid deer hunter, gun collector, and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his children and collecting Ford Mustang memorabilia.

Among those who preceded him in death include, his father, Charles Preston Reece, Jr.; grandparents, Charles "Preston" Reece Sr., Nola and Clifford Hoots and uncles, Timothy Lewis Reece and Larry Hoots.

He leaves to cherish his memory, the following:
  • His children: Chase and Sadie Reece

  • Mother: Rhonda Reece

  • Sister: Shannon Tipton (Ray)

  • Grandmother: Elizabeth Harvey and husband Noel of Breeding, KY (Adair County)

  • Mother of his children: Lisa Reece

  • Niece and nephew: Sophie and Tyler Tipton and a host of other family and friends.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Chuck Reece to help with funeral expenses.
