Epicurean Kentuckian: Pan fried Chicken Viennies - Mexican tea

2015-01-17 - EK Kitchen - Photo CM staff photo.
A Philospher Acquaintance has this to say about eating: "Eating is about getting full. If you want a can of hominy, and that will fill you up, that's what you eat." After eating a $80 meal for two, he sometimes has miser's remorse, and tells his spouse, a normal person, that they could have been just as full eating two cans of Chicken Viennies and $78 better off. His recipe is to Pan Fry to a Golden, Crispy Brown. The EK stole the recipe, and they were right tasty - and filling. Ours were enhanced with a glass of Mexican Corona Tea, iced and salted, spritzed with a little fresh-from-Walmart lime juice. The tasty little morsels were elegantly served on saltine quarters, fixed up with authentic's Franks. - EK
