LWC Men Track & Field place 7th in distance medley race

LWC Men Track & Field at UK Invitational continues today at 8pmCT/9pmET 17 Jan 2015 at the Nutter Field House, 1401 Sports Center Drive Lexington, Kentucky 42544

LEXINGTON, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team finished in seventh place in the men's distance medley race at the opening day of the University of Kentucky Invitational on Friday night, 16 Jan 2015.



Austin Childress, Dante Johnson, Marcus Terrell and John-Paul Williamson combined to finish less than five seconds behind sixth-place finisher Xavier (Ohio).

Kentucky's "A" team won the event with a time of 9:57.62, followed by second-place Louisville (Ky.) (9:59.53), Kentucky's "B" team (10:10.65) in third, Shorter (Ga.) (10:18.09) in fourth and Cincinnati (Ohio) in fifth at 10:21.55.
