Judge Paul Barry Jones, Adair Co., KY (1936-2014) He was District Judge for 2 years, Circuit Judge for 18 years, prior to which he was an attorney with Hurt & Jones Law Office, later Jones & Jones Law Office in Columbia, KY. He a retired farmer and a former instructor at Lindsey Wilson College. He was a graduate of Adair County High School, Georgetown College and Vanderbilt University Law School. He was a member of Columbia Masonic Lodge # 96 for over 50 years, member of Columbia Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years and also served as Choir/Music director. He was a member of a highly distinguished family, the son of the late Paul Bradshaw Jones and the late Mabel Elizabeth Shipp Jones. His wife of 56 years, Kathy Carter Jones, survives. He leaves 12 direct living descendants. Luke Keen won a second place in Computer Problem Solving. Daniel Corbin brought home a third place finish in Impromptu Speaking. And Rachael Stephens placed third in Business Communications. Overall it was a great day.
