Ella Maxine Morgan Lacy, Louisville, KY (1920-2012) She was a native of Lincoln, Nebraska, but moved to the Glensfork, Adair County, KY, when she was very young. She was a member of a highly regarded Adair County family, and the mother of Bill and Gerald Lacy. She attended Yellow Hammer Elementary School, Glensfork High School and Columbia High School. She graduated from San Diego State College in San Diego, California. Before her retirement, she was employed as an Assistant Controller and Assistant Secretary/Treasurer for University Mechanical Engineers Constructors in San Diego, California for 32 years. She was a recipient in San Diego, California of the 1998 YMCA Tribute to Women in Industry Award - for professional women who have made a significant contribution to their companies and communities. She was a member of the University Christian Church, SanDiego, CA. She moved to Louisville, KY in 2004 where her youngest son and his family lived.She enjoyed playing the piano, working crossword puzzles and reading.
