Norma Jean is my aunt and I saw the quilt in person at the family reunion and it is truly a work of art. I'm sure countless hours went into this quilt before the quilting even began. Adair County's treasury dips a little, but is still very strong. Adair County's treasury dip below $1,000,000 million dollars at the end of July, but that is probably the low point of the year, County Treasurer Barry Corbin reported last night. The reconciled balance was $950,576.39 on July 31, 2009, he told the court. Funds for roads are already coming in since July 30, 2009, adding to the funds balances in August, he said. The treasurer expects the healthy and growing year-to-year balances Adair County Fiscal Court has enjoyed in administration of Judge Ann Melton to continue.
