Big innings, Ramirez help LWC Softball beat Mobile

Springfield, MO - Lindsey Wilson softball scored an NAIA World Series-high nine runs today to beat Mobile (Ala.) 9-1 in an elimination game at Killian Softball Stadium.

Annabelle Ramirez was equally impressive in the circle today, going the distance to eliminate the seventh-seeded Rams (53-13).

The fifth-seeded Blue Raiders advance to 2pmCT on Monday to take on top-seeded Science & Arts of Oklahoma in another elimination game. USAO fell to Southern Oregon -- the same team to send Lindsey Wilson into the consolation bracket -- today 4-0 in the winner's bracket semifinals.

CU Kids and Jr Kids College to be held in June and July

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University will host her annual Kids College and Jr. Kids College camps during the months of June and July.

Kids College and Jr. Kids College, on behalf of the Campbellsville University's Virginia Ponser Flanagan Technology Training Center (CUTTC), provides students, preschool through eighth grade, with opportunities to broaden the scope of their interests and interact with other young people.

LWC Softball stays alive in NAIA World Series

Springfield, MO - Hannah Epperson hurled a complete-game shutout to lead Lindsey Wilson softball to a 2-0 win over Vanguard (CA) in an elimination game tonight at the NAIA World Series at Killian Softball Stadium.

The fifth-seeded Blue Raiders advance to face seventh-seeded Mobile (AL) at 4pmCT on Saturday. No. 9-seed Vanguard's season ends with a 46-13 record.

LWC at day two of NAIA Outdoor National Championship

Gulf Shores, AL - Three individuals and the men's 4x400 meter relay qualified for the finals of their respective events during Friday's competition at the 2019 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships held at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium.

Kevin Hallmon, Alexia DeHaven-Boyd, Safia Bright and the 4x400 meter relay team all managed to finish in the top-eight of their respective individual events to advance to tomorrow's championship finals in the process.

Flags to be at Half-Staff for Memorial Day

FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 24, 2019) - In accordance with the proclamation by President Donald J. Trump and the U.S. Flag Code, both American and state flags at public office buildings will be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until 12noon (local time) on Monday, May 27, 2019, in observance of Memorial Day.

Good Saturday morning, May 25, 2019. It's Health Fair Day at the Farmers Market on the Square from 9amCT to NoonCT. Blood pressure will be checked for free and there will be lots of answers for your health questions.

Fresh vegetables, plants, foods, flowers and crafts are all available until noon, or until sold out.
