Comments re photo 78099 Six year old pair sharing a chair and secrets

Clara Rodgers writes:
Those two little girls are so adorable. They must be sharing their thoughts about their boy friends or who they like. I remember way back then when I did the same thing. They are both so beautiful. Oh to be young again. They may be talking about their grandpa and grandma. They are so sweet and innocent. Love them, - Clara Rodgers
Thanks, Clara - We greatly appreciate your comments. Grandchildren - all grandchildren - are wonderful. Thanks to those who share wonderful moments their own. Tillie & Hailey's Granddad, Ed Waggener

Gov. Bevin gives his side of his tax/budget bills veto

Kentucky's financial future requires tough decisions. - KY GOV. MATTHEW BEVIN
The opinions expressed below are those of the writer, Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin, who explains his vetos on Monday, April 9, 2018.

By Governor Matt Bevin

For many months, we have been working to resolve the toughest financial crisis Kentucky has ever faced, a crisis that began many years ago and that previous governors and legislators either negligently handled or ignored. It is now snowballing out of control. Nothing about this process has been easy. That does not, however, take away from the present reality that we are facing, or from the difficult decisions that must still be made.

On Monday, I vetoed both the budget and tax bills. By failing to significantly reduce the pension debt, while also increasing our overall spending, the legislature is proposing to continue Kentucky's dangerous fiscal habits by making promises to our citizens that we already know we cannot keep. Have we not learned our lesson? These tax and budget bills suggest that we have not.
