Billy Joe Fudge: Mystery Church at KY 768 & KY 92

Comments re photo 74467 Mystery Photo Do you remember this church Billy Joe Fudge writes:
Can't remember the name, but I believe it is the church which stood on the South of the intersection of KY 768 and KY 92. I never was quite sure if it was in Adair or Russell County. - Billy Joe Fudge
Thanks. Billy Joe Fudge Your answer is posted and linked from the photo. The building at the corner of KY 768 & KY 92, from the description, is at the terminus of KY 768, and was not a church, at least in recent times. It was the one room school famed for past teachers, Hazel Parson and Dr. Oris Aaron. It is in Adair County, just a few miles from Russell. Pleasant Hill Christian Church is not far away, on KY 92, at the intersection with Old Montpelier Road. - EW

Mike Watson, Adair County Historian: (Received 28 Aug 2017)
- I'd hazard it is Gradyville Methodist in the "old days" and the author was Col. Ebenezer L. Dohoney, later of Texas. If so, then this was the home of the famous Sunday School.- Mike Watson
