Elden Vance Mason, 81, Sulphur Well, KY (1935-2017) He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He attended Woodbury College in California, majoring in International Trade. Later, he worked for Rose Industries in the Phillipines. On his return to the United States he started several retail businesses, in Gibsonville, NC. He moved to Metcalfe County in 1998 to pursue his dream of farming after retiring from his position as Quality Control Analyst for Engineered Control International in Elon, NC.
