James R. Caulk, 86, Taylor Co., KY (1930-2016) He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church. After 37 years of service, James retired from the Kroger Company of Indianapolis, Indiana. During his time with them he was a proud member of the Teamsters Local Union 135, being re-elected as the Union Steward for 35 of those years as well as serving on the Board of Trustees for 30 years. After retiring in 1992, James soon returned home to Taylor County where he enjoyed farming, loved working with his cattle and took great pride in operating a well maintained farm. James (Jim) Edens, 69, Bethelridge, KY (1947-2016) He was a Marines veteran and longtime employee of Tecumseh. He was of the Methodist faith. "Jim" loved farming and hunting. He was a native of Pulaski County, the son of the late Reece and Beulah Hendricks Edens. His wife, Doris Chadwell Edens, survives. He leaves five direct living descendants. Unemployment improves again in Adair, Cumberland, and Taylor Year to year numbers show strong improvement in all surrounding counties since 2015, with Adair, Cumberland and Taylor Counties showing continued improvement since last month. Casey, Metcalfe, and Russell unemployment ticked up slightly in the monthly comparison from September to October 2016, while Green Co. remained unchanged. Mr. Kenneth Dee Dile, Green Co., KY (1946-2016) Mr. Dile was a painter by trade, and had also worked as a farmer and truck driver. He enjoyed stock car racing, and kept up with all the local drivers as well as NASCAR. Mr. Dile professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a resident of the Greensburg, KY, at the time of his death in Marion County, KY. He was the son of the late Shreve and Louise (Burris) Dile. His wife, Evelyn Price Dile, survives.
