Harry Mack: Scammers not cranks, they are criminals!

Harry Mack writes:
You did right by letting the police and sheriff know about the phone call. I will differ with you on one point. You called it a "crank" phone call. Usually a "crank" call is from someone that has a mental problem or trying to harass you. This was not the case. These people are not "cranks," they are out and out criminals!

They are trying to steal anything they can get from you in any way they can do it. So, don't take these calls lightly. If they were truthful when they called people, they would say something like this: "I want your credit card numbers, bank account numbers and any other information about you so I can steal all the money you worked so hard to get. I am lazy and just want to talk on the phone to take it from you instead of working."

I hope others will do the same as you and let the authorities know when they get these calls. These people need to be in a place where there are no phones - jail! - Harry Mack
