Saloma Baptist Church, one of the local Baptist churches that has long been supportive of CU, presented a check for $250 for the initial amount to provide sponsorship for WLCU 88.7 FM programming, making Saloma Baptist Church WLCU's first sponsor. Overcorrection a factor in Casey County injury collision Map, Rayborn Hill RD, Casey Co., KY By TFC Wm. Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY CASEY COUNTY, KY (2011-08-17) - Trooper Mike Woodrum is investigating a one vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday August 17, 2011, at approximately 2:30amET. Bruce A. Speakman, age 54 of Liberty, KY was traveling south on Rayborn Hill Road approximately ten miles south of Liberty in a 2005 Jeep when he ran off the northbound shoulder of the road. Speakman overcorrected, crossed the roadway and ran off the southbound shoulder and overturned before coming to rest. Speakman, who was belted, was not injured. A passenger, 52 year old Douglas Speakman of Hollywood Florida who was also belted, was transported to Casey County Hospital, LIberty, KY, by Casey County EMS for minor injuries. The accident continues to be under investigation by Trooper Woodrum.
