Sileage chopper, Acadia, and Lumina involved in Monroe crash Accident occurs north of Tompkinsville, KY By TFC Wm. Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY TOMPKINSVILLE, KY - TPR Daniel Stephens with Kentucky Sate Police responded to a three vehicle collision 7 miles North of Tompkinsville on KY 839 at 7:39amCT, Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Tonya Bryant, age 40 of Tompkinsville KY was traveling North on KY 839 operating a 97 Chevy Lumina. Ethan Brown, age 20 of Tompkinsville KY was traveling South on KY 839 operating a 93 John Deere silage chopper. Thomas Bartley, age 22 of Tompkinsville was a passenger with Ethan Brown. Sherry Halsell age 54 of Tompkinsville KY was traveling North on KY 839 operating a 09 GMC Acadia. Tonya Bryant crossed the center line in a curve and struck Ethan Brown. Brown then crossed the center line and struck Sherry Halsell. Bryant was not belted and was transported to TJ Samson Hospital. Brown and Bartley were not injured. Halsell was belted and transported to the Monroe County Medical Center.
