Youth Football signups next 3 Saturdays By Ryan Harris ACYF Sign-ups will be the next three Saturdays, August 1, August 8, and August 15, 2009, from 9:00am-12:00 noon CT, at the locker room behind Colonel William Casey Elementary School. The cost is $40.00 per child. A child must have reached his/her 6th birthday by September 1, 2009, and cannot have reached his/her 13th birthday by September 1, 2009. The first practice will begin on Monday, August 10, 2009, at 5:00pmCT. Cut off dates for sign-ups will be August 17, 2009. Any logical reason for gas price difference? Cameon Campbell writes about: Gas Price Drumbeat Columbia 20 cents higher than Cville I too have taken notice that Columbia's gas prices seem to always be higher than any of our surrounding neighbors. It's extremely frustrating that gas is so much more expensive in this small town than compared to many many other places. Now more than ever in these tough economic times gas should be made available for as low a price as possible to make it easier on the average family working to get ahead. If anyone knows the reason why Columbia's gas prices are always so much higher than everyone else's, please share the information. I would really like to know if there is a legitimate reason for the prices being what they are.
