Judge Melton has good report from Frankfort meeting

Governor's sole mention of any county was of Adair County and the KY 61 project; CJE extends appreciate to Governor Beshear, Secretary Joe Prather, Judge Richard Lee Walker, and all who helped get KY 61 back to construction phase. Says Governor shows he really cares about citizens of this county

To the Citizens of Adair County:

I just wanted to give the citizens an updte on a meeting that I attended this week, Kentuckians for Better Transportation Conference, which was held at the convention center in Frankfort.

Although the outlook for transportation dollars is not favorable, I felt very honored during the luncheon held on Thursday. Governor Steve Beshear spoke to the crowd and Adair County was the only county he mentioned in his speech.

Fausnaugh's Thawing Roosters brings smile to face

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

I really enjoy the bird photos, but the two roosters today actually brought a smile to my face. Great photo.

s/Pam Dailey McNeiley

Thanks. Elizabeth Fausnaugh frequently brightens our day with some incredibly colorful photos. The one of "Two Roosters thawing out in Gradyville, KY," is one. They are all great, but for a smile, try this one: "Catch the Cat." It confirms my lifetime belief that Gradyville is, indeed, a "Zippety-do-dah," place--a Walt Disney idyll, created especially for kids of all ages. -EW
