LWC students coming back to improved campus Air conditioned Horton Complex, wireless internet are big changes By Emily Harlan, Lindsey Wilson staff writer Lindsey Wilson College's new students enjoyed improved accommodations Saturday as they arrived on campus for the opening of the 2007-08 school year. Students and their families checked in, picked up books and moved into residence halls, including the renovated male Horton Complex. Dean of Students Chris Schmidt said the improvements made over the summer to Horton Complex, which included air conditioning and new heating, have already made a positive impact on the campus. Announcement of learning services for adults The Adair County Adult Learning Center offers these free services: Literacy, GED preparation, family education, basic skills, English as a second language, college preparation, resume writing, workplace education, online courses, and Kentucky Employability Certificate (KEC). The learning center is open Monday-Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Night classes will begin Thursday, August 23, from 4-7:00pm CT each week.
