Lois Holt Goodin, 88; member, Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church She was the widow of Elbert Goodin, the matriarch of a large, distinguished Adair County family, and a retired Millerfield merchant Photo accompanies this story Lois Holt Goodin, 88, a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home, formerly of the Millerfield Community, passed away December 29, 2005, after a long illness. The funeral service will be Sunday, January 1, 2006, at 2:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. J. Richard Lehman and Bro. Jim Goff officiating. A few hours left to change parties to vote in primary of choice County Court Clerk Ann Melton's office is open until 4:30 p.m. December 30, 2006 The office of Adair County Court Clerk Ann Melton is the only office open in the Courthouse Annex today, Friday, December 30, 2005. The Clerk said she was trying to give everyone who wanted a chance to switch parties to be able to do so by the deadline for voting in the primary of their choice next year or to run as an independent.
