Lois Holt Goodin, 88; member, Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church She was the widow of Elbert Goodin, the matriarch of a large, distinguished Adair County family, and a retired Millerfield merchant Photo accompanies this story Lois Holt Goodin, 88, a resident of Summit Manor Nursing Home, formerly of the Millerfield Community, passed away December 29, 2005, after a long illness. The funeral service will be Sunday, January 1, 2006, at 2:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Bro. J. Richard Lehman and Bro. Jim Goff officiating. Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Junius and Sarah Murrell Holt of Adair CO, KY, a member of Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church, and retired from Goodin's Market in Millerfield. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Elbert Goodin, on August 22, 1991, and by a daughter, Betty Sue Newton, on December 4, 2004. She is further survived by the following:
