That's a lot of mileage to do in 230-mile increments. I was coming off a motor vehicle with a pretty healthy fuel tank that went about twice that on a single fill up. An observation for the day Our friend Rob Collins shared an experience and an observation… “Went to the coffee shop and realized I'd left my phone at home. Sitting in a public space without one is nostalgic. As an amateur student of observational sociology, I was able to watch people discreetly, since most of them were looking down at their devices. "Some of them were immersed in conversations that I could hear, without effort. Plus, I was able to engage in meaningful face to face conversations without distraction. I'd feel like I have rediscovered freedom and encountered a measure of deep existential enlightenment, except for the fact that l'm posting about it... So, perhaps not!” 2024-02-23 10:20:54 | Comments | Printable version
