Volunteer shares his Hosparus experience

By Danny L. Morris

After sixty years I moved back to Campbellsville to retire in this beautiful homeland. One of the many advances I have found is the comprehensive care system provided by Hosparus. The excellent organization helps so many individuals, couples, and families who have sickness and needs far beyond their ability to handle.

I found last year that much of their care comes through the organized approach to have volunteers from the community. It includes a wide range of opportunities which give support to people. The thrift store, office volunteers, various services, and personal care.

Letter: Economic development

Victoria Pike writes:
I would personally like to thank Heather Spoon and the board for the work they are doing to get our county on the move toward prosperity. We have struggled over the years while those around us grew and prospered. This is our chance to make a difference in our community for years to come.

I urge each of you to do all you can to support YOUR community and watch what happens. Get involved in the workings of your county and know how and why things are done. Get educated on the workings of your county government. Don't just sit back and watch or back seat drive. Know before you criticize how things are done.

I'm looking forward to great things for Adair county and so is Zippy.
