Dorothy Mae Bingham, 89, Adair Co., KY native (1934-2023) Dorothy Mae (Wilson) Bingham of Edmonton passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side. She was 89 years old. Funeral services will be held at 10:30amCT on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Matthew Sexton and Bro. Joe Logan officiating. Burial will follow in the Bragg Cemetery. While my mind may still cling to middle school humor, my body firmly reminds me that those days are long gone. Even the slightest physical activity now leaves me acutely aware of muscles that I didn't even know existed, let alone that they could ache. Yet the occasional physical discomfort pales in comparison to the true traffic signals of aging: our own children. My 8-year-old loves to talk about my gray hair, while my 13-year-old confidently believes I possess zero cultural literacy. And, while I'd love to refute their claims, they're likely right. Louisville Orchestra Quintet coming to Columbia By Doug Beard The Louisville Orchestra is currently on a state-wide tour bringing the gift of music across the Commonwealth. I have been working with a member of their planning team and we are excited to have a Brass Quintet from the orchestra coming to Columbia July 12, 2023 at 1pmCT in the sanctuary of Columbia United Methodist Church, 202 Burkesville Street, Columbia.
