Alma Green, 84, Columbia, KY (1938-2023) Alma Lou (Long) Green of Columbia died on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 9:35 P.M. at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. She was 84 years old. The uneral service will be held at 1pmCT on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Dick Scholl officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 9:30amCT on Monday. Gladys Roy, 99, Columbia, KY (1923-2023) Gladys Dora Hancock Roy of Columbia passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at T. J. Health Columbia. She was 99 years old. Funeral services will be held at 4pmCT on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Rev. Bill Davenport and Wes Irvin officiating. Showing the historic Field House to young prospective buyers from Tennessee brought happiness. The young lady with blue hair felt the good spirits of those who'd lived there before, possibly students when the Presbyterians used it as a school.
