Chef shares how he cooks country ham for breakfast By Ralph Roy Waggener I cook Penn's country ham on a flat grill at 350 degrees! I like to cook bacon before, so I have some grease to keep the ham from sticking! Penn's cuts their ham thinner now than it used to be! Anything that you can use that will keep the ham from sticking will do just fine! I cut all the excess fat off and make small pieces because that is the way I eat it! I turn it several times as I cook, and I use scissors to cut it with and I also use them to cut the ham if it wants to curl up. Ham and Bacon tend to curl up and cutting it where it curls lets it cook more evenly!
