Joyce Coomer: Indigo Buntings particular about their homes

Seem to disliked manicured areas
About: Indigo Bunting photo on CM

By Joyce Coomer

There has been a flock of indigo buntings around our place for several years. They moved to our place after neighbor dozed down their homeplace by the road. The best I can tell, Indigo Buntings are very particular about where they live and dislike manicured areas. - Joyce M. Coomer

Ramblings from Charles Marshburn: GOTETH! Digging for water

Progress report - shoveling as hard as she can, now down 4 inches and no water and fortunately, no oil. It smells - on effort to get good sweet water from a well. Bona fide Pettitt's Fork of Russell Creek sage shares new wisdom on water witching, his husbandly generosity, his request not to tell Dr. Giles about his one-in-each-hand mint julep technique not seen on the cooking shows. A Warning to PC ladies: Maitus caedere is a crime in law and in Ten Commandments, and encouraging it could make one an arrestible, incarceratible lodger in a penal institution near you. - Best to mutter those thoughts under your breath, lest ye be on record. DISCLAIMERr for those who don't get it: This is HUMOR, not NEWS.
Response to: Charles Marshburn asketh, and geteth, expert water well advice from Pam Dailey.

By Charles Marshburn

Thanks to Pamela for some great ideas! I bought my wife a new shovel to cross with her old one, "Witching" you know, and although she wasn't overly excited, I offered her the chance to strike water.

I know! I am too good to her.
