She was a retired school teacher from the Metcalfe County School System and was a member of the Edmonton Baptist Church. She was a member of a prominent Metcalfe County, KY family. She the daughter of the late Carl Bryant & Mary Orlena Bell Fraser, and the widow of Tom B. Janes. She leaves 11 direct living descendants spanning three generations. Rev. Stephens was in the ministry for 55 years. In 1967, he founded Calvary Temple Church in the Garlin community of Adair County, KY, and served as Pastor for 49 years. He was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of Adair County, KY at the time of his death. He was the son of the late George & Fairlee Hopper Stephens. He was the widower of Delpha Stephens, his wife of 56 years. His wife, Brenda Gann Garmon Stephens, survives. He was the patriarch of an outstanding family. He leaves 12 direct living descendants. (Thu 21 Fri 2017) - The Kentucky Infrastructure Authority (KIA) board approved a pilot program to finance equipment from Kentucky's Federal Surplus Property program. The financing makes low interest loans available for Kentucky drinking and wastewater utilities to purchase from a select-list of equipment.
