Cynthia A. Meyer: White flower is milkweed

Cynthia A Meyer writes:
Looks like "Milkweed" ... Monarch Butterflies should be happy with it...as the Monarch caterpillars dine on Milkweed exclusively, so without the Milkweed we would have no Monarchs- If you notice there has not been as many of the orange and black butterflies around as of late, might have a direct connection to with Roundup and other herbicides being sprayed so freely. --Cynthia A Meyer

BJ Fudge: Were Prices Creek, Big Creek churches moved from namesake creeks?

Comments re photo 73122 Churches of Adair County KY Big Creek Baptist from Prices Creek Road

Billy Joe Fudge writes:
Just wondering if the Big Creek and Price's Creek Churches were moved from both their namesake creeks to the ridge tops as both the Red Lick Churches were? - Billy Joe Fudge
That's a question for Mike Sexton. I think he told us, last Saturday, the names of the four Missionary Baptist Churches in the Prices Creek Missionary Baptist Church area which rotated services different Sundays but we had fluff in our ears and only got "East Fork Missionary Baptist Church," over the hill in Metcalfe County as a second of the four. (STORY). I'm curious to know; it vexes me to be ignorant of this fact. And, you or some other knowledgeable person should fill us in on the Red Lick Churches: Red Lick UMC in Metcalfe and Red Lick Baptist on Chestnut Grove Road in Adair? - EW
