Remembering Ollie J. Roberts: A member of RSHS class of '41 Five members of Russell Springs High School class of 1941 have passed on in the last year; oddest thing about the class was that there were three sets of twins. By JDGEE Ollie J. Roberts is the fifth member of the Russell Springs High School Class of '41 (names of all class members at (Russell Springs class of 1941) to pass within the last year. Of the five surviving members, one lives in Ohio, one in Oklahoma, one in Virginia, one in Louisville, and one in Campbellsville. My uncle Woody, my father's next to youngest brother, was also in that class but broke family tradition ("a long life is the best revenge") by dying when he was only 89. Another Class of '41 graduate was J.C. Williams, a grandson of Dr. Gose. Oddest fact about the class: there were three sets of twins out of a class of 33 students. Ollie was a strong adherent of the old, old saw about marriage and school not mixing; he remained single. - JDGee About: Ollie J.
