CU String Chamber Ensemble to present concert April 9, 2013 By Joan C. McKinney CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY- The Campbellsville University String Chamber Ensemble will present its Spring Concert on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 8 p.m. in The Gheens Recital Hall of the Gosser Fine Arts Center, 210 University Drive, Campbellsville, KY The presentation is free and the public is invited. The ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Robert Gaddis and graduate assistant, Leonardo Barros, will present a varied program of music including movie themes, English folk songs, Brazilian songs and classical literature from composers such as Mendelssohn, Holst, and Vivaldi. The ensemble will also present a new composition by Seth Johnson, a graduate composition student at Campbellsville University.
