Victoria Pike: Rowdy Twins Henry and Stella now one week old

Greg Thomas' long-wailing tornado siren, scary as it was, endured fairly well

Farm Report from Greater Bliss, KY

The rowdy twins Henry and Stella are now one week old.

They now have 3 new brothers and a sister.

However, they have not met their famous sister, Lucy who resides on the other side of the parkway at the Pike Browning Ranch. I can only imagine what they will get into once they meet.

On another note, the girls here on the corner endured the second tornado siren test fairly well yesterday morning with no escapes to report.

It didn't even run Ole Bud out of the sinkhole. - Victoria Pike

Reade Heskamp says CPAP machine works for him

Alternative, eight year user says: Possible death

Reade Heskamp writes:
I too urge Mr. Raddock to stay with his CPAP, but I'm astonished at the difficulties he is having. I'm in my 8th year, on my second design...an extremely SIMPLE 3 point unit which intereferes with absolutely nothing. The blow part fits in the nose, with a single strap running over the ears to on the back of the neck, and another single small strap running over the top of the head. There are no other parts. It is on and off in about 3 seconds and touches no other part of the body. The alternate: possible death. You just don't have a knowledgable supplierl and mine is no cost, my insurance covers it. --Reade Heskamp

Couple encourages use of CPAP machine

Linda Seaton writes:
Mr. Raddock, I too would encourage you to give the CPAP another try; my husband and I both sleep much better with them. I had a similar experience in getting used to the masks and tried many different ones before finding one with which I was comfortable. I'm sure the medical supplier will work with you in finding what works best for you. And you don't have to use the vaporizer unless you feel you need it. - Linda Seaton
