Walnut Grove Road: Happy to have new bridge there

Remembers both how hard it was to travel the road and the many good times with his Bennetts and neighbors: the Turners, the Grants, anb Burbridges, who were all there before the Griders
Comments about: Walnut Grove Bridge project 16th of CJE Ann Melton Era

By Kenneth Bennett

I remember when it was always so hard to get across the creek, and when the road would have deep ruts so deep it was almost impassible.

Charles Marshburn thinks his bridge is pre-Victorian

Comments re article 56023 Walnut Grove Bridge project 16th of CJE Ann Melton Era

Charles Marshburn writes:
I believe my bridge was built during the Victorian Era! T'would be tumbling down! Has been deemed unsafe by those in the know. - Charles Marshburn
That's a shame. Over in the mountains, it seems there's a bridge for every house, for every driveway. If the county had the revenue to do that, it would be nice. - CM
