CAUD Boil Water Advisory: Longhunters area - Oct. 5, 2012 (Posted 02:40pmCT - A boil water advisory has been issued at 2:30pmCT, Friday, October 5, 2012, for customers of the Columbia/Adair Utilities District (CAUD) for customers on Butler Street, Knox Street, Travis Street and Pittman Street.The advisory has been issued due to a main line break. Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply therefore this Boil Water Advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure.Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bringing the water to a rolling boil for three minutes before using. This advisory will remain in effect until the situation has been corrected and test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality. Connor now has a rare immune deficiency as well. Just this week doctors decided not to give him any addition chemo treatments until he is better. Connor has been very sick this week.
