VFW, Auxiliary meetings are Sept. 13, 2012 The regular monthly meeting of VFW Columbia 6097 and the Ladies Auxiliary will be the coming Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 7pmCT. All members are encouraged to attend and help us plan for a busy time from now until the end of the year. There will be a special announcement about a new service to all veterans that will soon to be offered by our post. This new service will be made public through all of the local news media soon after Thursday night. Any veteran that would like to know if they qualify to be a member of the VFW can contact any of our post officers and they will get you an answer. We welcome all new members and hope you will join us in some of our projects. Our Honor Guard has been working hard to become as good as we can be and the hard work is showing and we also need more members to help us here. If you have time, come join one of the better Honor Guards in the State, I think you will find it very satisfying to help other veterans and their families.
