Cheryl Wall: Westlake is much more than just the hospital The following is the text of Cheryl Walls prepared remarks for the Adair County Fiscal Court meeting on Tuesday, August 21, 2012: Remarks of Cheryl Wall I keep hearing the word "hospital" tonight during the meeting. This situation is so much more than that and goes even deeper than what most realize. If the hospital closes, the clinics will close also. Westlake owns and operates five clinics...three in Columbia, one in Russell Springs and one in Edmonton. If these clinics close, we will lose our physicians: Dr. Kiteck, Dr. Mooney, Dr. Wilson, Dr. Aaron and Dr. Bergin who are great physicians and let's not leave out we would lose our terrific APRN's. You may not be able to be seen as quick...it may be four to six weeks before you can receive treatment from a healthcare provider and you may not be able to get refills on your prescriptions as quick either.
