Von Price urges Circle R to be what it used to be

Wishes Mr. Cheng best of luck and will give him a try. Insists new owners should provide great food - "Hoe-Cakes," and Country Ham, that Mr. Harper always served.

By Von Price

When the Circle R opened after OLD Circle R burned down...I was never so disappointed in anything in my life.

Coming to Columbia visiting Family and going to the Circle R was a tradition. I just hope that the new owners return to the same kind of food that used to be served there. And this is just my opinion only, but I think if they do...they will be a sucessful operation. I wish Mr. Cheng the best of luck and when I am in Columbia I will give them a try. I only hope that they know how to make 'HOE-CAKES"...or some called it Fried Cornbread Country Ham and Pinto Beans, and the usual Great food that Mr Harper always served. - VON PRICE

CM Comment Adair Countian abroad in Louisville, KY, Von Price must have hit the new Circle R on a rare bad day. It happened a few times in the re-opening days.
