Sharon Whitehurst reveals aversion to even good snakes Sharon Whitehurst writes: I made myself look at this photo - a rare thing as I usually flee from serpents or their images in any form. I killed a small snake yesterday as it was in the cats' fenced enclosure - and because Jim wasn't here to do it for me. It was dark brown with a dirty-white pattern of zig-zags, and yes, it was small - the better to kill it, my dear! The fact that it might be identified as a 'good snake' didn't influence my response to it. --Sharon WhitehurstComments re photo 41697 The real snake which didnt take a nibble of photographer 2011-09-05 14:38:12 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Sharon Whitehurst - Whitehurst Diaries

By "Jim" Research for a non-CM-related project (don't tell Editor Waggener!) occasioned a look at the News from the late summer of 1941--the Wednesday, September 3rd edition, to be exact, seventy years and two days ago.
